We were shocked to learn what $200 per night--the cheapest room available--will buy you at the Nevele: conditions that make some third world hostels seem enviable (we've been to a few). We couldn't imagine why other guests weren't running away screaming, and thought perhaps we were alone in our opinion. We weren't.
Read what others are saying about the Nevele Grande:
- "I would not recommend this hotel. The management has a total disconcern for their customers."
- "Absolute misrepresentation of the hotel/resort. The place is awful and the advertising is totally misleading. They should be sued. Don't stay at this hotel, period."
- "I should have known the minute we got there the smell of mold was everywhere. The lobby, the halls, the rooms-everywhere. The food and service was awful. Be very careful if you choose to come to this place, you are risking your health by staying there."
- "I couldn't believe how low they could get. Hot tub broken, cockroaches in the games areas, service rude. Will never return."
- "This is a dirty outdated disaster. The help were unable to supply our needs and our families couldn't wait to leave. The food was mass produced and at times uneatable. I am amazed this place has any return visitors. We will not make that mistake again."
